Have your say on Wiltshire cycling and walking plans
Wiltshire Council is asking for your views on two cycling and walking plans in Wiltshire: one for the whole of the county, one for Salisbury and one for Amesbury.
Wiltshire-wide and Salisbury LCWIP
Cycling and walking are an important part of Wiltshire Local Transport Plan. Wiltshire Council is in the process of developing Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs) for the principal settlements and market towns in Wiltshire, as well as the key routes between them.
The Wiltshire LCWIP is an infrastructure framework for the whole county, while the Salisbury document focuses on the cycling and walking opportunities in the city and the local area. The two Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs) set out proposals for cycling and walking networks in each area and highlight how these will be improved to create connected networks for pedestrians and cyclists.

To share your views on the Wiltshire-wide or Salisbury LCWIPs, take these two surveys by 16 September:

Amesbury area cycling and walking
Additionally, if you cycle or walk in the Amesbury area, Wiltshire Council wants to hear your views on a proposed cycling and walking facility on Countess Road, Amesbury, that would link the town centre to Woodhenge and on to Larkhill and Durrington.
The survey closes on Friday 23 September, and once complete, the feedback will be considered before the council creates detailed scheme designs. Work would start on the scheme in 2023, for completion by the end of March 2024.
