Visit the Mobile Library at its new location!

The Wiltshire Council South Mobile Library has relocated! With support from the Collingbourne Ducis Parish Council, the Mobile Library has changed locations to reach even more people in our village.

Previously meeting in West Farm Close, the Mobile Library will now meet in the parking area outside the school (Chicks Lane SN8 3UH).

Peter Waterman from Wiltshire Libraries said. “After consultation with the School, Parish Council, and the current Mobile Library customers, we are very pleased with the agreement to relocate the stop to outside the school. This will ensure both continued access to the Mobile Library by residents, and also allow the school to bring children on board to access reading books!”

The school parking area will remain open to members of the public wanting to use the mobile library including during school holidays.

The mobile library visits every four weeks on a Friday (Route J) arriving outside the school at 11:05 and departing at 11:30am. You can find dates of future visits on the Wiltshire website, as well as on our Parish events calendar.

The next meeting date for the mobile library is Friday 16 December, 11:05am to 11:30am.
