Collingbourne C of E Primary School.
“We are a small friendly village school where all children
are valued as individuals and encouraged to reach their
full potential both academically and as members of the
school community.” Headteacher Mr Jeff Mason
St. Andrew's Church, Collingbourne Ducis.
The church was originally dedicated to St. Mary but was
changed in 1786 to St. Andrew. Much of the church was
restored in the 19th century but it still retains older features
dating as far back as the 12th century.
Wiltshire Community History
The Collingbournes and Everleigh
Gardening Club.
We are a very mixed group; some members have an
extensive knowledge of flowers, plants and vegetables whilst
others are only keen amateurs - who have the good fortune
of knowing who to ask for advice when it is needed.
Collingbourne Cricket Club.
We have two Saturday teams which compete in the Wiltshire
League. On Wednesday evenings we have a team in the
Savernake Evening League and on Sundays we run one team
playing friendly fixtures.
We welcome all persons interested in cricket.
The Courier
Our community magazine is available in a full colour edition which
includes photographs that are not available in the printed version.
Collingbourne Scouts
Scouts will learn map reading, first aid, pioneering and camping skills -
one key skill being “proper” camp cooking!
Hiking, rock climbing, archery, potholing, gliding, powered flight and
photography are just some of the other things they will potentially get up
to.
Neighbourhood Policing
The aim of neighbourhood policing is to have a dedicated policing
team in your local community. We are here to work with you to tackle
local concerns raised by you. We work with residents and local
agencies to improve your quality of life.
